Join us for our 2020 Evening of Light, an empowering celebration of the resiliency of child, teen, and adult survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Featuring nationally known speaker Michelle Knight and stories of hope and healing after abuse from the survivors we serve, this event promises to be one to remember. Help us raise critical funds to ensure that survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence get the help they deserve on their journey to healing. Each event includes auctions, lunch/dinner and an interview with Michelle Knight.

ABOUT MICHELLE KNIGHT

Michelle is one of three women who escaped after 11 years of captivity, torture and abuse by her abductor, Ariel Castro, in the Cleveland, Ohio kidnappings.

Michelle speaks openly about her experiences, sharing her empowering story to reclaim her life. Knight is an international and New York Times best-selling author. Her first memoir of the Cleveland Kidnappings, Finding Me: A Decade of Darkness, A Life Reclaimed, provides insights to readers about her captivity inside Ariel Castro’s home as well as her tumultuous childhood. Her new book about her life after escape, Life After Darkness: Finding Healing and Happiness After the Cleveland Kidnappings, shares her inspiring journey to find friendship, healing, happiness and her life’s purpose of advocating for victims of trauma and abuse. Knight and her story have been featured on 20/20, Dr. Phil, The Today Show, Anderson Cooper 360, CNN, USA Today, Newsweek and People, among others.
