Available any time, day or night, 365 days a year, the Crisis Hotline is a confidential way for survivors to contact Riverview Center for help. Whether it is their first time requesting assistance, reaching out for support during a flashback or making a counseling appointment, the Hotline is the best way to get ahold of us.

Riverview Center is a nonprofit agency committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care for individuals affected by sexual assault in Iowa, and for individuals affected by sexual and domestic violence in Illinois.

Our services are always free for survivors and their families. Our organization is supported by generous donations, grants and volunteer service.

Riverview Center validates the experience of all survivors and treats them with empathy and care in a nonjudgmental environment. Riverview Center provides compassionate services to survivors regardless of biological sex, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, immigration status, English proficiency, race and/or ethnicity, incarceration status, disability, or background. Riverview Center is a safe space.

Each client has a unique experience and is the expert in their healing process. Our staff concentrates on supporting survivors by providing guidance and options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. Advocates don’t push agendas, curriculums, or personal beliefs. In working with therapists, survivors set their own pace and participate fully in treatment planning.

All cases are handled with confidentiality. We respect survivors’ right to privacy and handle their experiences with discretion.
